BECHTEL – LAS BAMBAS

Scope:

Engineering and manufacturing of floating systems for mining operations at Las Bambas, including steel barges with ballasting and venting systems, 16-inch, 200-psi valves, floats for 16-inch HDPE pipelines, more than 400 m of floating access walkways, platforms for winches and anchors, and a shallow-draft crane barge with a 5-ton davit system. The project also includes complete electrical equipment with lighting fixtures, cable trays, and medium-voltage submersible power cables for 900 HP motors at 4,160 V.
