Project Description:
- System consisting of 02 Barges with floats of 5.50 x 5.50 x 0.80 m. to support each 350HP vertical turbine pump and additionally Auxiliary Pontoon 5.00 x 2.50 x 0.80 m. for the common discharge manifold of 20” diameter.
- Each barge and auxiliary pontoon has four ballast compartments each, two towards the bow and two towards the stern of the Middle Section, its main objective is to compensate weights to stabilize the Barge in the Transverse and Longitudinal direction.
- The auxiliary pontoon, in the operating condition without considering ballast in its compartments, comes to have an inclination towards the bow side and a slight listing towards the starboard side.
